The commentariat is presently busy dissecting the past Tuesday elections, wherein three New York communistic candidates stripped out wins against what was, on Monday, very liberal Democrats and by Wednesday morning, were ossified old guard Democrats. So much of that I can leave for others. It’s an election and most of these prognostications are a mathematical science for which the pros are far better equipped. I do have niche that’s worth exploring though, what is slithering in the grass? When most people talk about ‘grass roots’ concerns, even there, they’re almost always looking from the top down. They’re not exactly down in those weeds themselves. They may be down on their knees, metaphorical magnifying glass in hand, observing the little human creatures crawling around. Maybe I can get a little closer.
In my own neighborhood, the day after the primaries here at home, I was taking a regular walking route for one of my weekly exercise routines. It was very early but I had taken just enough time to get the highlights from the previous day’s election and to be aware of the results in New York. I am not in New York and the culture and potential resulting representation does not directly affect me but it’s widely understood that the election upsets were an immediate earthquake for the entire Democrat establishment nationally, all of the liberals and even many of the progressives. In the matter of revolutions, history teaches us that the first waves of revolutionaries (ala Maximilien Robespierre) are the most vulnerable – but I get ahead of myself here. As I was walking along beside a traffic guard rail, I found a little paper sticker, nothing more substantial than what you might find in a box of crackerjacks. On it was printed [paraphrasing here]: Billionaires just want to take everything from you. It was a clear contemporary statement, the like of which is being uttered daily by the radicals attempting a full takeover of New York City, state, and eventually the country. ‘Billionaire’ is a very hot word just at this exact moment in time so this was not some random timeless sentiment. The big anomaly here is that this was the tiniest gesture of graffiti-like messaging, very far from the happening communistic hot-bed within NYC. I reside in a Republican dominated county and the town can be described, at best, as ‘purple’. Moreover, the sticker and guardrail are next to a playground. What that tells me is that kids placed it there, likely young or mid-teens, and who’s main interest in the outdoor community is disrupting traffic with their electric bikes. In as much as they’re all very distant from and likely quite ignorant of national politics, where did they get the stickers and what is their relationship to the source?
We learn from the pros that the demographic voting in the communists are quite young. Most are recent transplants in the case of NYC. What is by far the most shocking in the case of this election is that the communist won with just 7%-10% of eligible voters. If you can picture 350,000 young ‘Bernie’ bros and grls, many of them under 30 and almost all from the hinterland (because NYC hardly generates its own live births anymore), and they all stormed the elections because they’re the only ones that were motivated by anything or anyone, that’s how it went down. They’re not even old enough, sophisticated enough, or organized enough to steal elections like the mainstream Democrat machine has famously mastered. Many of them were probably young enough to put billionaire-bashing stickers on the light posts of NYC.
If you thought, or think, that this post is about 350,000 ‘kids’ and about how to stop them, re-educate or nullify them, that is not the point. The real news is not that New York is turned communist. It is that literally tens of millions of regular New Yorkers, most of who are Democrat, don’t give enough of a shit about their own community to go out and do a basic civic duty. Moreover, the Democrat leadership in that state and nationally doesn’t have the minimal fortitude to stand up to the commie-kids such that they’re now quaking in their slippers over them. Of course, a couple do, but all the ones that count the most are frozen in fear that if they don’t pretend to like them and don’t openly declare their hatred of Jews and don’t openly shower them with other people’s money, they’re next…but guess what? They already ARE next as has already been declared. What might happen as a result? Maybe a Republican will get lucky and grab one of those open seats in the general election if enough ordinary Dems get disgusted enough and cross over, but in the end, Hakeem Jefferies (dollar store DEI minority leader) and Chuck Schuemer and Gov Hochul and a whole lot of other will be gone very soon. Bye-bye Democrat Party. You thought it was unrecognizable now, just wait until 2028. It’ll be much crazier and notably smaller
Back to the community kids. They will flirt with socialism. It’s an ‘easy’ choice when you want to blame billionaires for your bad grades, for your parents yelling at you, for the shitty little service sector job you have to work part time, and why your car is ten years old. When you have small intelligence, nominal but ideologically saturated education thanks to your true believer socialist Art, English, and Social Studies teachers; that disposition is predictable.
A lot of pundits presently fear a socialist/communistic contagion. It’ll burn very hot for the next few years. A lot of young lives will be ruined in the process. But the numbers won’t add up. Some numbers: Zero promises will be kept. Zero communistic activist so far have shown any intelligent plan to implement their utopia much less govern and I predict that zero will come up with the goods. Millions will be kept waiting for the aforementioned and it won’t arrive. Millions will grow five years and then ten years older and will wonder why their filthy capitalistic peers have nice homes, jobs and families while they still can’t afford a one-bedroom flat on their own. Millions of the young will simply get bored with the whole affair and move on with their life. There are presently two main political parties. One of them is on the eve of destruction. I cannot predict what that carcass will look like. If all else fails, there are approximately 1.5 guns for every person in the USA. Most of them are in the hands of people that don’t want socialism. If the guns are outlawed, the number of guns per person will remain about the same. This country’s big flirt with socialism has a shelf life of not much more than five or six years. Let’s see how far they get in that time.
