We’re solidly into year two of Covid, the second full year of its intrusion into our lives. There is no longer one nation of people figuring out how to beat Covid with two different opinions on how best to do that; instead, there are two separate camps with entirely different end-states in mind. One group believes that Covid can be whittled down to manageable numbers and from there, slowly defeated. Along with that will come a return to ‘normal’. Those who believe this are no longer just the [far and despised] ‘right’. A good representation comes from none other than the Wall Street Journal, ‘Herd Immunity Is Near, Despite Fauci’s Denial’ The science quoted is sound, but it’s no longer about science. In the other camp, headed by Dr. Anthony Fauci, are the statists that are invested in Covid as a permanent fixture. Never mind that they present a timeline because a) Fauci’s word is worth no more than monopoly money and b) the goal post is always safely and dependably moved further away. So what really matters now? It’s the number of states, governors, counties, and businesses, large and small, that are willing to strike out on their own and defy the Biden/Fauci grand experiment in social engineering.
The only power that Biden/Fauci hold on the United States is first, fear, fear among the general populace and second, government and business leaders that are willing to act as agents of the Biden/Fauci fear machine. Take note that they propose no end game. Sure, they’ll mouth a vague opinion that we’ll see something by fall, next year, year three now but there is no credible determination.
It’s time to critically examine the whys, wherefores, the motivations of their pessimism. Some of these are starting to get some airtime on conservative media at least: planned recession, a deeper backdoor to the climate change agenda, the advantages of an obedient and fearful populace to name a few. There should be one other, Dr. Anthony Fauci himself.
In an article I wrote for evaluating media, I posited: “One example that I take exception to is to be accused of being duped by ‘conspiracy theories’. If news were like science, ‘conspiracy theory’ would be known as ‘hypothesis’ the first step in scientific inquiry, and yet the left has effectively marginalized legitimate news by branding a lot of conservative thought as ‘conspiracy theory’. The use of the term is meant to immediately segregate the accused conspirator theorist from all potential audiences.”
Upon the better understanding of legitimate theories as it relates to inquiry, it’s time to start asking hard questions to and about Dr. Anthony Fauci. While the derision about his waffling is growing, I have yet to see any discussion about his perfidy. His pronouncements are unsound because they come from a baseless character, taking us deceptively in a direction other than his words assumed at face value. What did he know and when did he know it? That’s the least of it. It’s all well and good to say that maybe you won’t listen to Rasputin or a Grima Wormtongue but why on earth would you want him to even remain in high office whispering anything to any government? Covid has Fauci’s fingerprints on it.
Here are some questions that should be asked of Fauci:
Why were you funding ‘gain of function’ studies during the Obama administration?
Why did you continue that work through the proxy of Harvard and JHU universities when your program was shut down?
Why did you outsource the research to the lab in Wuhan China?
Were there no labs in the United States qualified to do the research?
Did you then and do you now still consider China to be a reliable and safe partner for level 4 bio-hazard research?
Are you qualified to evaluate the geo-political risks of using an adversarial government for a ‘study’ on a pathogen that could be used for a biological weapon?
What records of those studies you funded reached your office and your desk?
If you received any record for the studies you sponsored, did they contain an inventory of natural and manipulated pathogens, their characteristics and risks?
If you claim to not have records of the Wuhan contracted studies, who and what level of your administration has them?
When can any such records be released for public examination?
When did you personally first hear of Covid-19?
Some of these questions are rhetorical because we know the answer. Others though are leading questions that seek to discover the real history as it relates to Fauci, Covid 19, and a logical explanation for his deception. He is not feeble minded although his manner and pronouncements would almost lead to that observation. It’s the cultivated manner of someone that has something to hide.
Dr Anthony Fauci and his role in the origins of Covid 19 should be what and how we focus on now, not his opinion of masks.
