A regular Wednesday feature that takes a summary look at hot news issues surrounding Trump during the past week.
As of this week, the Trump Scorecard will become the occasional if at all feature of hot issues surrounding Trump during the past week.
For most of Trump’s Presidency, there has been a regular feed of unusual stasis-busting motion as a result of his anti-everything outlook. Even though I did not vote for him, I found some of these events intriguing at the same time that many decisions were not generally positive for the Presidency or the country. I actually liked his take on the Press, his Supreme Court choice and maybe half of his cabinet appointments who are taking on real reform to government and some of his predecessor’s mis-directions.
Trump’s Presidency is now being compared to a circus by many and I cannot disagree with that. It goes around and around and is not evolving; in fact the bearings are already making noise. Some affirmative actions may still occur, I still say he’ll beat the ‘Russian thing’ witch hunt, but at the end of the day, Donald is the supreme egotist and this constant drama will not end. He may make it to the end of his term, he may not, but I hear weary groans from both sides who are just tired of the whole affair. Me to. Trump was an extraordinary issue a year ago and six months ago, but is no longer, unless he’s called on to address some major danger like a North Korean nuke.
In the meantime, look for my continued take on topics like media, the social fallout from technology, the economy, futurism, or perhaps a decent poem from time to time. Wednesdays and or the weekend are the best chance for a new commentary.
