I, like all conservatives, even ‘moderates’, and even some liberals, am horrified to see the gross abuse of power exercised by the Biden regime enacting the raid on Trump’s home. I was surprised but not surprised. Afterall, we’ve watched Merrick Garland gaping like Wile E. Coyote for weeks now. The January 6th inquisition swung and missed; no indictments, no swaying of public opinion. The far-left flank has been beying for Trump blood for far longer and reportedly, pressuring the feds to do what six years of witch hunts has thus far failed to do. Even Garland, in his manifest corruptness, knew this would be highly problematic, create terrible optics, and present a huge risk of a backfire; and then he did it anyway.
So jumping to the chase and the end game, these people would love nothing more than to put Trump in a cell. Never say never and if that came about, expect the mother of all social upheaval that would make the 60’s look like kum-by-ya in the park. But expect this; Garland will attempt to gin up charges over anything he possibly can (as instructed), and the courts will get involved all the way up until November 2024 and the Democrats will be buried alive no matter what the outcome is, except now by a greater margin.
In the meantime, what of the papers seized? We already know about the ‘classified’ documents he was holding and their provenance. The material content on those papers and the possession thereof will all come under the purview of some sort of judicial scrutiny….and found to be criminally errant because of a misplaced paper clip. I need not even mention the iniquities of Trump’s predecessors and successor (especially). We already know about January 6. There will be no smoking guns, but you will be told there are, for months. This is a well-worn pattern. There have been six years, an entire deep state, and hundreds of thousands of hostile federal functionaries and media antagonists and nothing has been uncovered to date, I don’t expect papers to change that. In just 24 hours, the additional information coming out is only adding to the perception that this was a last desperate effort to discover anything before the election.
The Biden regime has brought Washington down to the level of a Managua or a Kabul. It’s actually worse than that. Think Gestapo except that this isn’t just a cute rhetorical trick. We’re now talking literal behaviors of an establishment agency. The FBI overnight went from being a biased arm of the federal government to being the arm of a rogue government. It cannot remain intact in its present form. Talk of throwing down the gauntlet; this is about as near to declaring the constitution null and void as a country could get without yet doing so. What’s next? Suspend the Supreme Court (a-la Venezuela)? Don’t hold your breath people. I recently wrote that there are a very few things that could upend civil government as we know it and Biden just took one giant step toward one of those things.
It may be impossible to overemphasize just how desperate the Biden regime-left is now. I detect a miscalculation, not unlike Putin marching into Ukraine. He expected business to be substantially wrapped up in a couple weeks. Six months later they’re still skirmishing with a third of their military destroyed. He expected the rest of the world to roll over for him. Biden and the regime-left have gambled everything in the hope they’ll find a morsel or at least disrupt the election with whatever insinuations could be projected from a raid. Those optics have been perceived very differently outside their inner sanctums. Like Putin, they have no idea what they just unleashed on themselves.
