Discussion about the Biden Trump debate and Joe Biden’s performance is deafening, and consequently, I don’t have a great deal to add to the mix except to say, most of my prediction of its outcome have come true, but yes, there are a couple caveats I do not see or hear yet in my news feed. The greatest question now is, will or will not the Democrats, or can the Democrats, replace Joe Biden? For a good primer on the difficulties faced by the DNC, ‘Revolver’ put out a pretty good piece. That informative piece is part of my take-off point here. As I have said before, they can and will remove Joe if they are forced to but the real story no one is really talking about is the cost to the party if – as is now very likely – they are indeed forced.
Of course, Joe must go. Jill Biden is running the day-to-day White House and thus the Presidency at this point. There are very few initiatives his enablers can route through Biden in his present condition of survival campaigning. News of growing contention between Biden and the Obama’s has been seeping into the news. There are only two reasons why Joe is still in the race. First, Jill Biden, and second, the empty corner they painted themselves into with selections like Kamala and the tainted vulture, Gavin Newson. The corpse of Joe Biden still polls better than them as unbelievable as that seems.
The staked positions emerging after the debate are divided into two camps. The thin upper crust of the Democrat Party, including the DNC, thick with Biden appointees, and party elite, Obama, Schumer, Pelosi, et al, who are openly gaslighting their half of the country. Nothing to see here. Joe had a bad day. The majority of their establishment from there on down, the ones that talk to donors and voters, have eyes to see and ears to hear, and they are panicking for all the obvious reasons. Not only is Biden going to lose, but now, after squandering their credibility on obedience to Washington, they have to face voters wondering why they were played; enough to make a difference in some of those downline elections.
The Democrat Party is a top-down organization and has been for a long time. The upper crust speaks and everyone follows no matter how ridiculous. That’s how the masses were pushed into acquiescence to all the gross programs and movements they’ve come to represent. One of the most important groups in this economy is the press, the fourth estate. They’re the middlemen responsible for passing orders from on high. In the past four days, they, led by their own biggest player, the New York Times, have broken ranks with the Democrat leadership and are now calling for Joe Biden to step aside. The press and major media, have their own credibility challenge as well. They can only sell a lie so big or for so long or they lose what little shred of credibility they have remaining. If and when that’s shot, they lose another 10-20-30 % of readership and they’re forced to fold for good. This is why we’ve seen some inexplicable surprising tidbits of truth out of CNN the past few weeks. They want to still be around when this is all over. When you have ‘The View’ and MSNBC calling for Biden to leave, counter to Obama, Clinton, Pelosi, Schumer; in as much as the mainstream press are a branch of the Democrats, there is now civil war in the party. This is not being reported. Editorial boards don’t reverse calls. Obama and friends have lost control of the party.
Democrat stalwarts are saying that Joe could bring down the whole party. Maybe they are or are not referring just to losing the Presidential election or the down-line elections as well. They’re on the verge of a multifront civil war. They’re losing the rank-and-file legislators and state level people. They’re losing the mainstream press who are now going into their own survival mode. Then their coalition of extreme hard left communist, DEI identity politics folks, and traditional liberals, all of whom have their ambitions tied to possible alternatives: Harris, Newsome, all the younger ones whose turn – it is not, all these groups that were held together by one oblivious senile old man, will be going to war.
The Biden family and close advisors met today. Will Jill Biden give up on her surrogate presidency and tell Joe it’s time? Will all the family members that have benefitted from the Biden Family criminal enterprise and the tens of millions of $ that came with it, and the legal immunity and DOJ protection racket that came as a corrupt perk of office, will all of that go away and will a bunch of them go to jail while Joe finishes his days drooling in a nursing home? Or will they all try to hold on, shatter the Democrat party along the fault lines I describe and others I have yet to see, lose the election, doom the party as the entity we’ve known, and then get all the other ruin on top of it? A lot riding on that family meeting.
If I sound sympathetic to the Democrat party, I apologize. These are just desserts, the fruits of their evils. Republicans surely have some day of reckoning coming or maybe they’re already coming out the other end of their own civil war process. If nothing else, the hour of mopping up after the ruin that was Joe Biden will be enough for all of us.
