Everyone has a lot to say about the Biden debacle and now it’s immediate aftermath. The following is a synthesis of that news, carried out further into the future.
We will have another 9/11
Everyone knows this is an ongoing risk, but there are reasons why we’ve gone 20 years without a significant follow up. The Afghanistan debacle just removed one of the largest inhibitors of a repeat, decisive strength. In its place, we now have manifest administrative weakness. I’d speculate that multiple plots have been in planning for years. One or more of them will now go into accelerated operational planning. Don’t look for a direct repeat even though our airports and the TSA are proven to be fully incompetent in the face of serious threats. Our adversaries are far more imaginative than that.
Taiwan is as good as gone
Xi and China have been preparing to take Taiwan for a long time. They now know that it could potentially cost them nothing, absolutely nothing. Will anyone come to Taiwan’s aid if we do not? The only risk is related to time: How much longer can they be guaranteed that the extraordinarily effete and addled Biden and senior officials will be in power? Wait until after the 2022 election or pull the trigger before then? If yet another Afghanistan-like event unfolds before the election, bet on that timing. The only way the loss of Taiwan can be avoided is if XI has enough doubt to wait until an administration change and by that, I don’t mean Kamala.
Joe will be physically carried out of the White House
Truth be told, there’s a lot of ways that Joe could go, all becoming much more likely: A full 25th amendment procedure, natural death, Clinton-style death — but do not discount something even messier. A lot of concurrent red flag events just now happened over the Afghanistan matter: The military industrial complex just got majorly dissed, Biden just stained the careers of untold scores of career, deep-state operatives, military included – he just hung them out with an event that will still be documented in history books and images 100 years from now, if we even last that long. One of the most disturbing things about Afghanistan is that, according to many insiders, Joe went totally alone on this one, scorning even his neo-liberal staff’s advice. It’s a profile or picture of a stubborn old senile man. There’s also an aspect of mean-spiritedness, his pre-existing callous attitude to the humanitarian side of our tenure in Afghanistan to which he earlier had replied “fuck-em.” In one fell swoop, he alienated, and by association, tarnished virtually every opportunistic wing of his own shaky alliance. Did I mention his Big Media handlers? Did I mention the puppet master himself, Barack Obama. Happy 60th birthday to you, you dancefloor extraordinaire!! Here’s a birthday present for you: a major stain on your already-damaged legacy. The sum of these factors suggests that these players will not sit by idly while Joe directs yet another Afghanistan-like event. Wait for it.
