Contained within the unrest of the past six plus days, are multiple parts, conflated together. There was the initial reaction to the police brutality. I’d keep that separate because what follows has little to do with that except for the legitimate peaceful protests on the treatment of blacks in this country.
There is also:
- Antifa
- White Supremacists
- Looters, incidental and planned
- Police Departments, not just keeping order, but also baiting the crowds
- Progressive provocateurs, well placed white privileged savants that don’t bother to deconstruct and otherwise confuse the other members of this secondary list as those that will ultimately create progress for blacks. They goad the crowd. And by the way, it’s all because Trump is a fascist.
What I find especially egregious and disheartening, is the last group. Rich privileged white women and men that won’t have to walk out their front door and into their burned-out community and where even some of the untouched businesses get the hell outta dodge. And by the way, it’s all because Trump is a fascist.
We’ve tried riots before, not so effective. You want better behaved law-enforcement? Killing and maiming a few of their members may have some tactical flaws. And by the way, it’s all because Trump is a fascist.
In an earlier post I stated and hold to my opinion that the only recourse for eliminating law enforcement abuses is removing immunities from the whole legal/prosecutorial chain, from police up through judges. Funny how no one else has proposed that action. Rioting is more fun. And by the way, it’s all because Trump is a fascist.
So we’re in a civil war basically, but one that will be quickly lost by the peasants. So you think Biden will save you and your sorry liberal ass? My memory just kicked in and recalls that he was Vice President for 8 years under a semi black President. There were race and police brutality inspired riots back then too. That administration didn’t reform police departments in liberal Minnesota, the ones who even back then admitted neck crushing restraint holds that today, we’re so surprised to learn they exist. Oh, and by the way, with a prominent liberal white privileged prosecutor in office that ended up as a Democrat Presidential candidate. I’m sure white privileged law and order Joe Biden will get around to it this time, I promise. And by the way, it’s all because Trump is a fascist.
I don’t subscribe to two white liberal notions: 1. Shut up and listen to the plight of blacks because your racist 2. If you don’t speak up about the plight of blacks, you’re racist. Come to think of it, I reject pretty much all crowd thought. How about I say what I want, when I want. And by the way, it’s all because Trump is a fascist.
