Tariffs: Everyone is a naysayer about tariffs and the assumed impending wreck that will occur on our economy. I’ve read the backstory and it is indeed 4D chess. As I suggested some time back, tariffs change behavior. More immediate to that, name one thing in the past generation that’s improved or solved our trade balance or staunched the outflow of our industrial base and associated capital; and don’t forget the millions of families decimated by that outflow. I don’t think you’ll find anything. Let’s try America First. Status quo has had its chance for a very long time. Said naysayers are all over the price of an avocado or some such to prove that Trump is wrong on tariffs. Even hometown-Harry has more sophistication than that.
Anti-Semites Radicals at Universities: We’ve been under the assumption that schools like Columbia are colleges that just happened to get caught up in the business of social justice. I’m coming to see this as incorrect. They are instead, pits of radical activism that masquerade behind the false front of a school. They are inherently deceptive in their mission as a means to fleece funding. It’s time to take some of them off life support and drain their endowments.
Signal-gate: Even though Trump has declared it over, since nobody even now seems to really know or admit why it happened, it fits squarely in the pattern of an attempted deep-state take down. Even though the administration has greatly improved their security, there’s a mole on the inside. Trump has been right to not take the bait. The hunt for the operatives may have already been successful and it’s not accidental that you will not hear about it.
Activist Judges trying to stop Trump: I’m impatient for the Supreme Court to weigh in and either stop this BS or for certain justices to show their true colors. Until that happens, it’s all a travesty. I hope the administration is proceeding piecemeal even if the executive orders are halted. And where in the hell is congress?
DOGE: DOGE and Musk are hated because they’ve been wildly effective. Despite some early errors as I previously noted, they’ve busted the insurmountable. What I find bothersome is the nagging despondency of those that initially supported the effort in principle, but have no stomach for any of the reality, as if it should have been the same as every prior effort, nothing but a show. And as if it should be simply fine for fifteen percent of our annual national outlays to continue to go to our enemies, corruption, and fraud.
Musk and Burning Teslas: Of course, justice will be done but isn’t it a striking commentary that the entire Democrat playbook has devolved to the level of ghetto vandals?
Democrat Platform: If you thought the 2024 Democrat platform was bad, watch them watch their own platform burn to the ground: restore federal agencies caught in the act of fraudulent conveyance of taxpayer money to our enemies and their BFFs, un-deport violent illegal alien criminals and re-install them in your community, force taxpayers to pay for sex changes to convicted felons, illegal aliens, and those that are supposed to protect our country enlisted in the military, burn Teslas, paint swastikas on those Teslas, and on campuses that exist anymore solely to agitate against Jews, just like Hitler did, restore full taxpayer support to illegal aliens and allow them to vote in all elections. It’s a winning formula if I ever saw one…
Particularly with the matter of Tariffs, there’s theme running through all these stories about the highly visible reaction to Trump’s initiatives. Certain classes of people have no patience, no tolerance to temporary hardship, no sense of delayed gratification, and no clue or curiosity about the highly technical objectives that need to be attained to get the country on track. It’s all about the price of that damn avocado and if it’s a quarter more, than ‘we’re outta here’. I could suggest that Trump administration should explain itself more thoroughly, but I recognize, that’s a fools errand. Let everyone bitch in the dark and when the lights come on, it’ll all work out.
