This might be the briefest opinion piece I do; times they are busy right now.
Meme-speak: Whether your conservative or liberal, I don’t care; if you’re primary mode of publicly communicating your politics or personal ethos is conveyed by meme, you are a friggin idiot. If you have a college degree or otherwise come from self-described literate lineage, you get bonus points in your idiocy because you should know better.
Journalism and the press: Enjoy it while you can because its going away. A thick volume is in order to describe this but I’m not even talking about the widespread degradation in press output quality and bias issues. On a business level, journalism as we’ve known it, good and bad, is going away. There is serious implication for this trend.
Trump and impeachment: Shit or get off the pot. Also be aware that morality is not synonymous with executive privileges and practice. Impeachment is, for lack of better words, a popularity vote that may or may not be based on real applied judicial standards. Yes, Trump is a bastard, and if you prefer, has his share or immoralities in office like his predecessors, but drawing equivalencies between obstruction of justice for grousing about an investigation that was rooted in yet to be prosecuted Democrat election malfeasance, would not breech executive privilege if it went to an actual court. And that people is why Mueller could not explicitly say what some of you were dying to hear.
