The Northeast Reader is designed for additional contributing writers to share the stage.
Steps for potential regular contributors:
Be familiar with the format and tone of the writing but also be prepared to offer something different that will compliment the project. Northeast Reader is not intended to express a single viewpoint.
While commentary about news, trends and culture are the central themes, general humor and casual essays are also requested. Establishing your own writing voice is essential.
New contributors are occasionally sought and invited. Initial writings will be first published as a guest contribution.
As mutually agreeable, writers may become regular contributors.
Technical stuff:
Initially, submit all works in an email, as a Word Doc, or in any app that I can copy text out of onto desktop. If you become a regular contributor, you’ll be given have a personal login.
There is no compensation for any writing as this site does not have a commercial component at this time, however; commercial terms may be introduced in the future if appropriate.
