How To Maneuver Through the Hellscape That is Climate Change

It’s Global Warming Season again. It’s the season where every day is an opportunity to foist climate propaganda onto the ignorant that haven’t yet lived through all the normal decade-long iterations of weather. It’s the season where every day that hits 90 degrees is a crisis that your overlords are pretty sure, mankind has never experienced before. It’s the season of deep red maps on the TV, prominently placed images taken from the center of wildfires, meant to convey that you’re living in a literal hell, surrounded by the sulfuric licking flames at the edges of your dry lawn, the suffocating interior of your parked car, and the life and death survival dash from your car to the entrance of your grocery store. The news coverage here is the only thing that’s gone extreme.

I understand that the climate is changing – some places. Few seem to understand that climate always changes. Some places get colder, some get much warmer. Global one-hundred-year trends – to the extent that they’re even measured accurately over 100 years [maybe even more so now with today’s politicized temperature readings] – would only be strange only if they went neither up or down. Beyond that, who is to say that one degree up is a climate disaster? When your base line is the ice age, we certainly are in hell, aren’t we? Just don’t look at any further back at what came before.

Why such a long face John Kerry, Climate Czar? Why the propaganda? If we’re truly baking, why do you change the news? An interesting piece came out showing evening news weather maps in the 1990s with summer high temperatures depicted as green and yellow. Today, the same temperatures are depicted with a deep burnt red color. Subtle, are we not? Speaking of John Kerry, there is his carbon emitting jet, you know. I don’t think his ride is an EV, no it is not. But really, what is altogether damning is the climate Socialist rejecting the cleanest power generation at scale known to man, nuclear. It’s not just that they don’t favor it; but that it isn’t even allowed into the discussion! Nothing to see here. You can’t tax industrialized nations on carbon if their nuclear program produces no carbon! Nothing states any clearer than this that none of them take any concern for actual climate change seriously. Gore said many times over that the oceans are rising. I have yet to see anyone jack up the buildings of my own state’s premier ocean destination, even by one inch, even though it’s been about 18 years since the entrepreneurial Al Gore started his climate hustle business and at least 5 promised ends of the world as we know it, even though Ocean City Maryland is approximately just 4 feet above sea level, all of that shifting-shifting sand. The sand moves, the buildings are still quite dry. I haven’t heard a peep of worry about that even from Maryland Democrats. On a recent trip elsewhere, witnessing the awesome majesty of glaciers, I saw signs reference to global warming. Evidence? The glaciers were breaking off where they exit the mountains. Huh? A glacier will be as a glacier does. A glacier can’t help itself. Why are hellscape summer wildfires used to depict routine heatwaves by the news people? Both wildfires and summer heatwaves exist for their own separate reasons, so why are they conflated? By the way, you need two things to ignite a fire: fuel and a heat source. The average temperature at which a fire will ignite is between 424 and 475 degrees. I’m pretty sure the heatwave you’re suffering even at this very present moment has a-ways to go before it actually causes forests to burst into flames. (This gives me a new appreciation of what Moses observed when God spoke to him out of the burning bush). Europe bakes in unprecedented heatwaves this summer, except that it now happens every year, even though they’ve been on board with reducing emissions by about 30 percent for quite some time; better than any other region of the industrialized world. Too bad Europe. Maybe the weather actually liked those emissions. Or, too bad Europe that those ass**** somewhere else in the world blew their troubles your way. Maybe you should just double down and pay even more. The white middleclass of European descent must pay for their original sin for all eternity somehow, and the climate change demigods and commissars are here to collect. Let us pray for the long winter. It seems that there have been several between the 15th and 19th centuries, where the sun faded, and winter became a year-round season. Crops were over-rated anyway. Volcanos were probably responsible for it but maybe a nuclear exchange with Russia will do as well. If global cooling is the objective, then blowing billions of tons of ash and sulfur into the atmosphere works quite efficiently.

I’ve no doubt that some areas are indeed hotter. It is the nature of cities and pavement to hold heat in the summer. Maybe those people should get out more. It’s been a longstanding historical disparity that the poor are corralled into and then also economically locked into cities with all of its discomforts; meanwhile, the wealthy can afford to and do retreat, ‘summer’, in cool places and resorts, usually in mountains and breezy oceans. It’s not accidental that the unfortunate city-bound are susceptible to climate demagoguery. Buy that electric car, suckers; the one that’s 50% greater $ than your annual income. They’ll be powered by windmills, [suckers again] except that climate change is making the refreshing ocean currents and winds slow down and causing more heat they say. It’s bad enough that natural climate change is stripped of context and politicized; it’s voodoo science to force an argument that it’s human caused, robust debate be damned they say; it’s an indictment that their only solution is taxes, deprivation, and socialism; and it’s unforgivable that those same leaders have no concern whatsoever for solutions that would credibly have a beneficial effect on the climate.
