Most of this article was composed prior to Thursday September 1st, 2020. On that night, Joe Biden stood in Philadelphia with a darkened backdrop bathed in blood red light, flanked by two US Marine officers, as he declared war on all iterations of MAGA which is an acronym for: ‘make America great again’. To Joe Biden, this is perceived as an existential threat to his regime, deserving hatred, raging face, clinched fists, and a litany of role reversal accusations wherein he and his party embody everything he accuses his opponents of. It might be understandable to think that these are the tantrums of a certifiably senile bitter failure of a President, desperate to turn the tide on an upcoming midterm election. That cannot be the only case. What Biden spoke are the calculated words of a speechwriter, vetted and vouched by a team of policy and communication operatives in the Whitehouse, and most likely, with direct input from outside the Whitehouse by those controlling this administration. What Biden spoke is not the position just of Biden, but of his entire administration, the government currently in power in Washington.
There are an increasing number of news and commentary articles that mention civil war or a range of aggressions that precede or follow, that are associated with war. All of it is coming from the left. It isn’t just hidden in leftist parlors and progressive news desks, its coming straight out of the mouth of Joe Biden when he, for example, stigmatizes the entirety of ‘America First’ adherents as ‘semi-fascist’ or threatens the need for F-16 fighter jets to defend ourselves against the military action he would visit on us. Is it hyperbole? Is it an old man babbling? Unfortunately, in this case, there are enough of his team backing his rhetoric that his threats must be taken seriously. As this Town Hall article aptly concludes: ‘The Left’s increasingly strident language of violence lays the groundwork for “preemptive” physical violence’. If that statement sound alarmist, you don’t know history or current events and you ignore it at your own peril.
It isn’t enough to watch this juggernaut approach and talk about it with the same detachment that we’ve always discussed national politics. We’re in new territory. There are a few things we need to adjust immediately.
First, lay aside the notion that a Democrat administration would never criminalize your allegiance to a party opposing their agenda. This is by far the biggest hurdle to overcome. How could it be true that in a land of middle-class suburbs, 4th of July parades, and Friday night high school football games, that America is descended into something more resembling a fractured early twentieth century Europe? Surely, they jest, posture, bluster, you would say. No, they are laying the groundwork to criminalize, not just stigmatize the people they regard as their opposition. Get that through your skull as soon as possible. Their think-tanks and news anchors have been hinting, and now openly spouting this rhetoric for years. Now, Biden, his administration, the DOJ and the FBI, are openly and methodically laying out their case in statements and speeches. If you voted for or sympathize with Donald Trump, if you have the core belief that America can be great again, if you unashamedly believe in a doctrine of America First, just like every administration up until this generation, or if you simply oppose the agenda and rhetoric of the Democrat party, then you have been singled out and labeled as an enemy of the United States by Joe Biden and a constellation of his enablers in his administration and the party that supports him. You have been labeled as an insurrectionist. Waking up to this understanding will become invaluable the moment that they take their hate to the next level which will ultimately be exercised as physical aggression.
Second, understand your opponent and understand that they’ve changed. This is not your father’s Democrat party. They have been hijacked by idealogues and are now motivated by an uncompromising belief that they must and will crush all democratic constitutional norms if that’s what it takes to maintain power and to maintain control of the United States federal government. Failure is not an option, and they will resort to extraordinary means to keep control. Presently, their focus is on Donald Trump and those that are loyal to him or his agenda. They are clearly stating that rank and file voters will now also be in those crosshairs.
Third, understand methods and timing. They will accuse you of every motive and action that they now embody; ‘semi-fascist’ whatever that is supposed to mean? Here Biden apparently means denigrating his opponents as second class or non-citizens, perhaps even non-persons. He means demagoguing anyone that challenges his pronouncements. Assuredly, Biden has done an outstanding job of embodying a ‘semi-fascist’ and yet he compounded the term to use on his political adversaries which just happens to constitute over half the population of this country. You are now also accused of causing inflation, the bad economy including the cost of gasoline, crime, disrespecting law-enforcement and the military, the immigration crisis and the list goes on and on. You are the scapegoat for his failures. You are denigrated for criticizing his turning the DOJ and FBI into the Democrat KGB. Every single hallmark of the Biden administration’s failures have been projected onto you, an America First John Q. Citizen and you now should be made to pay for ‘your’ failures as enemies and betrayers of the good people of this country, aka Democrat party loyalist. You are the focus of his vengeance.
There is a sequential timetable to how you will be made to pay. First, expect further disruptions to the present election cycle. I’ve made the case that a major event could be in store that would be used to attempt to suspend state laws over voter access for the midterm election and certainly, the 2024 if there even is one. This would be patterned after the Covid ‘success’ in the 2020 election cycle. Every physical protest made against a Democrat that perpetrates an election fraud will be labeled as an insurrection and will be met with the full force of legal threat. Every parent that protests a school board initiative will be vilified as radicals against teachers and education. The IRS will be unleashed on conservatives including the use of ‘swatting’ techniques, some even using armed force, and perhaps even no-knock warrants. Your social media will be combed for ‘hate speech’ and targeted by big tech working directly with the government to ID those exercising their first amendment rights. The transgressions will be reported to your progressive employers who will be pressured to do something about it. Some jurisdictions, like New York State Governor Hochul has just publicly declared pressure to anyone opposing her and her parties reign, to leave their state, which is the beginning of a precedent to introduce compulsory relocation and to forcibly shape electoral bases.
If cancelling you, harassing you, bankrupting you, and forcing you out of established communities is not enough, sooner or later there will be a literal Kristallnacht against conservatives. In history, this was a nationwide riot in Germany in 1938, of German activists against the Jews while the government looked the other way in silent approval. This already accurately describes nationwide attacks against pro-life pregnancy centers and Republican party offices in the past year. I predict there will be a singular outbreak of similar actions against a much broader group of conservative targets in the near future. It will include businesses, churches, homes and offices of anyone with a public profile of conservatism. It will coincide with extreme divisive rhetoric issued by the Democrats, Biden, and their proxies in media. This event will be the gateway to the next set of events they deem a national emergency necessary as thy say, to preserve ‘democracy’, meaning their single party rule.
Forth, it’s all about Trump but it’s far more than Trump. To paraphrase a collective notion, you’re being asked to accept the implication that if only Trump would step out of the way, you can have your normal back. Donald Trump is projected as the root of all evil. What Donald Trump actually is, is the most credible threat to both old establishment Republicans now solidly aligned with one-party progressive Democrat hegemony in American politics in this hour. It’s as if to say, unilaterally give up your ‘nuclear’ political weapon of force and you can have ‘peace for our time’. Tie a hand behind your back or cut off an appendage and then fight us. While Trump may only be in a position to lead for another term or just another month, it is his initiative to hand over the America First agenda whenever and to whomever he deems necessary. Those that enable Trump and his successors are the true object of the Biden regime’s scorn. In the same way that the regime’s hate extends beyond Trump to you his supporters, there are a long list of radicals ready and fighting for the chance to take Biden’s extremism to yet the next level once Biden is gone and its my observation that Democrat ‘centrists’ will never be anything but vassals and compulsory yes-men within their own party, ever again.
Last, follow the constitution, and be wise. While you have the ‘freedom’ to assemble, I question the tactical wisdom of doing so in the form of physical protests. Theodore Roosevelt advocated walking softly and to carry a big stick. Most protests now, aside from the risk and certainty of being a sting, are more accurately described as walking loudly and carrying a small stick. Let your representatives in Congress and statehouses do the heavy lifting, keep reinventing a parallel and superior media, and to the extent that you organize, do so as local as possible for the explicit purpose of turning out the radical left from office, one by one.
Use your constitutional right to defend yourself because it will increasingly come to that. Use the whole law in your jurisdiction to defend yourself. Protect your domicile, be prepared to protect yourself in public to the fullest extent allowed. If and when Biden or a subsequent far left administration gives the nod to their activists [sleeper cells] to take matters into their own hands while they look the other way, it will be up to you and any like-minded community to exercise self-defense. The far-left, presently led by Biden, are hoping that you’ll do the opposite.
