One: Fuel costs – I understand analytically why fuel costs are at all-time highs. I understand that Ukraine blowing up huge portions of Russia’s refining capability is screwing everything. Iran – who? The Straight of Hormuz is no longer a/the major factor. But I don’t understand why the production in the Western hemisphere is not taking up the slack in domestic prices here. I don’t understand why we should not be in a more advantageous position since we’re now the world oil police. Trump is moving the right direction with talks of gas tax reduction. We were promised relief months ago. We’re not seeing it yet.
Two: Election polling contradictions – As in the 2024 election, there are serious inconsistencies between polling and a lot of other election indicators. We know polling is bad, corrupted, that Republicans are wholesale opting out; but still, we wonder could it really be they’re that bad? At what point do we start tuning them out altogether, permanently. I and everyone I know, has no patience for being a pawn in the service of their manipulations and activism, still, counting is a necessary tool. A secondary problem may be with media that are addicted to provocation like it’s their lifeblood. Their ‘interests’ are not entirely aligned with pollsters and are mostly diametrically opposite of the public. They are the news and what they report is simply curated toward that end.
Three: US leaving Europe – This past week, we pulled a bunch of our bombers out of the UK. At the same time, France is burning because of so-called ‘student’ protests. Germany is deeply invested in its own downfall, and Spain has yet to even renounce its own invasion. The takeover of our key allies in Europe by Islamists appears to be for more advanced than what’s reported and admitted, not the least because it’s now the very faculties of reasoning of European leaders that are twisted. Their own native peoples are regarded as the enemy. It’s foreseeable to me at least, that we will ultimately leave Europe and UK to their own blunders. I semi seriously suggested not too long ago that we could invade them to save them, even though it ain’t going to happen. I foresee a new NATO with the remnants governments that are serious about their own preservation. In the meantime, we need to be planning a serious intervention to secure a bunch of nukes.
Four: The AOC crossroads – AOC is reportedly considering a run for the Presidency. She’s going through the motions of testing support around the country. In the new MarxistANDFascist Democrat Party, she’s now considered a moderate leftist. What does she have going for her? Fairly good looks and a competitive field that’s filled with deplorably deficient others, and mostly, she’s a woman and in Democrat minds, it must be a woman. None others need apply. What does she have against her? No brains. She made remarks this week that indicate to me that just one braincell came alive enough to suggest she knows she would be crushed in a general election and digging way deep, she’s not ready to be the next Kamala; doesn’t want that on her resume. Early call here but I’m pretty sure she will not run.
Five: Bernie’s oligarchy – Although Bernie is presently outside the main flow of hot news, he has a notable tic. I recently saw a montage of years of his grandstanding appearances and I see his feed on X, and he can’t stop himself from invoking ‘oligarchy’. That’s his catch-all boogeyman, his one act, his one bullet, his schtick, his crutch. In my assessment here, I have some therefores. Bernie thinks he’s being profound, he thinks his one big word is his ace of spades that’ll bowl over the common man that doesn’t know what that word means and would never open a dictionary. But the real problem here is that this is really all that Bernie’s got, that’s it. Sanders formative years were spent in participating in commie committees and from there, an entire long career in government, spending other people’s money. If you look at his Wiki page, you will find no real academic achievement at all and importantly, no mention of any economic expertise. You will find this description: ‘Sanders described himself as a mediocre college student because the classroom was “boring and irrelevant” and said he viewed community activism as more important to his education.’ Bernie, it shows.
