We are in for a rough ride. Just as soon as everyone exhausted themselves from the extreme animus over the elections, and what seemed like a couple days of partial sunlight, clouds gather again. Here is my take on some major news point in the past week:
Regarding the debate over the Electoral College
It is the constitution. Do you not want to be ruled by a constitution? If you want to try and amend it, knock yourself out. Otherwise get over it.
Jill Stein
Far from being the progressive reformer she painted herself as, she should be viewed as a professional muckraker; kind of like that cousin you had that at first seemed normal on the outside but was really quite dangerous, perhaps a political sociopath. Look for a second act, then a third and forth….
Hillary Clinton Soros
She didn’t quite go quietly into the night. She is the undead and can be seen roaming the earth with another undead, George Soros. Her ego and ambition are as deep as hell – that hell. She is willing to drag the country down another black futile road just for another helping of brains to feed her own dark soul.
Donald Trump
Just when we thought he’d clean himself up and get down to the business of governing, something ostensibly in his best interest, he forgoes security briefings, signals that Pence will be doing his heavy lifting and tweets like a toddler that discovered mommy’s phone. Four years of this? His appointments are mixed news, mixed messages. My recommendation: Be non-political for the next six or eight months. By then he should be starting the next round of appointments after a couple flame out. By then we’ll know if he really wants to be president or if the White house is just a side gig to him like ‘The Apprentice’. By that time, we should be well into the first couple constitutional crises’. Thank you Jesus for our military, our bilateral government and most of all for our constitution.
