Earlier this week, I joined a club often inhabited by many distinguished thinkers, leaders, and dissidents, I received a temporary suspension on my Twitter account. I didn’t fight the bots or their handlers that had flagged a response post, so I didn’t record the exact text of my infraction, but I believe it was a reply regarding the transvestite (‘tranny’) movement, in particular, the news that the Miss Universe Pageant has been bought out by one of their own and that the contestants are now partially populated by their own members. I suggested that that was actually fine – paraphrasing here because I don’t have access to my own exact wording – and that real women should vacate the event and let the trans’ have their own show, the only travesty being that real women were degrading themselves by their continued involvement. Seemed like a pretty reasonable view to me. I think I also threw in a comment comparing the mass movement pushing for transitions to the making of orcs, but I’ll address that separately.
My reply was not reasonable to the bots, or I assume bots. Maybe someone complained. Since I have a specific cohort of ‘followers’ that are obvious pneumatic man bait material, assumed to really be surly millennial thought police with hairy legs, perhaps even antifa, it’s easy to see where they might have taken up offence. It’s interesting that in now hundreds of my posts or replies on Twitter, on all topics conservative: some occasional support for Trump, impeach Biden, control immigration, pro-second amendment, bs climate change, etc etc, it’s the trans thing that may have got their overtaxed tiny new panties in a wad. In my own troglodyte cis ignorance, I’d have thought that this was of no more than secondary importance to them, but apparently not. This isn’t just personal, it’s strategic in their mind, or the other way around, both work.
If and to the extent that there may have been a human element involved, even if it was just some pimply pale coder feverishly working at 3AM at night to train the bot, I and we have to keep in mind that in spite of Elon Musk’s recent acquisition of Twitter, the underbelly of the entity is still substantially for and about values formed in the cauldron of San Francisco, a stunningly beautiful city I might add, if you fire hosed away every aspect of woke that now drapes the city like thick dark grey mold. All things trans would be quite near and dear to their hearts.
So was it the exact words or the concept? The generated message gave me a clue, I think the word was ‘hateful’ speech. This is quite curious that a bot, a machine, a line of software code, would analyze a few words and assign to it an emotion. Or maybe not, since the word ‘hate’, in Orwellian parlance, has been reassigned, meaning to indicate only those, them, they, that the regime, well, hates, to be honest. They could have disliked the word ‘tranny’, a word known previously as neutral street slang, which was then declared pejorative to counter-weaponize it (again, see Orwell’s principles of language and lexicon set out in ‘1984’). I really suspect that the part ‘they’ found most repulsive was the notion that real women pull out of the Miss Universe Pageant. I’ve seen news stories to suggest that this line of logic drives them absolutely friggin over the top raging bonkers! You see it when someone suggests that male trannies don’t really need tampons or OB specialist. So, here I am, guilty as charged. (Sigh).
For the record, I don’t hate trannies. In fact, I think you/they’re perfectly fine on three conditions: one) that I don’t have to help pay for your lifetime dependency of hormones, drugs, and surgery, two) that you don’t confuse, deny, and pervert the existence of real biological women or insinuate yourself into their innate sorority*, and three) keep you g-d hands off of all the children, those who are not legal adults! Abide by those three things and we’re square, no problem at all. And coming back to that word, ‘hateful’; keep in mind that it’s the forceful public face of transvestites that have positioned themselves as the overwhelming aggressors in the culture wars.
What about that thing about the ‘orcs’? I’m treating that separately because I intend to speak to that more at length soon. In the context of a Twitter response, I think the bot or human thought police would have had to be a Tolkien expert to construe a directed response at that comment. Keep in mind that the world of Middle Earth is built on real and synthesized mythology so I’m not giving bots or the bitter legacy Twitter guards so much credit at this stage. Frankly, the mind of Tolkien is beyond them.
What is Twitter now with @elonmusk at the helm? I’ll admit, it’s a happening place such that I’m not going to die on any one post. A year ago, it was a prison camp guarded by fascists. Suddenly it’s the ‘America’ of the social media world. In order to keep my standing there, this is my ‘official’ true response to the nameless bots and their secretive regime handlers: I grovel, I repent of my indiscretions against the almighty trans regime, the keepers of special rights and powers exceeding all others.
This post is my reply to those couple sentences claiming I engaged in ‘hateful’ speech. Maybe the bots read posted articles. Maybe the weenies will read it, masters of the universe that they are. A lot can still go on under Elon’s nose or so it would seem.
note * the threat of intimidation to biological genders is not symmetrical.
