Where are they now? I vaguely recall an occasional theme of this sort in some news magazine. In it, the writer would take a trip down memory lane and see where a past celebrity landed in a life after fame. We all wonder how these stories work out and they’re only more common now on social media platforms. So I’ve been wondering not just about one person here or there, but about where hundreds, thousands, maybe millions of people have landed in the world, post Trump presidency. I speak of my Facebook feed in particular and especially some of the Facebook pages I belong to or follow. Prior to the elections, my feed was jammed with articles on all things Trump, and the comment sections were filled with screaming voices. A disproportionate number of them were lefties, seething screaming lefties, some of them obviously the rent a mob type as indicated by their own pages which were open [the dead giveaway], consisted entirely of far-left propaganda, stock photos and radical slogan memes. I also have/had a few lefty friends, past acquaintances who had a sociable side to them, but they sure came out for Trump Delusion Syndrome. I lost a couple of them, still have a few. So where are they now?
Silent mostly. The hired mobs had only one agenda item, disrupt the election, they have nothing left to say. I guess they took their hundred dollars and went back to the unemployment line. A few deep dyed liberals weigh in on the group threads, but I don’t see much fire in their belly. Those from my friend feed are the quietest. Are they satisfied? Didn’t Joe exceed their expectations? If left is virtue, then far left is even more so and far far left as well? Why stop at half measures. I’m sure they’re delighted in the open borders, thousands of kids in cages, Covid running rampant among them and Joe & Kamala stonewalling the country over it. I know they love Kamala’s maniacal laugh at everything and can’t wait for the day she brings that bit of gravity to the Oval Office. They’re deeply gratified that Biden is throwing something like five or six trillion $ and counting for nebulous woke programs, the effect which will be a generation of inflation and stifled economy for them (and nothing to show for it all), many of these lefties just hitting their career building years or saddling their children and grandchildren with far fewer opportunities even than the down and out millennials. Oh, but do they think that theirs will be the first generation not subject to economic laws? That Modern Monetary Theory will miraculously work for the first time ever (kinda like Communism hopes). I’m pretty sure my lefty homies are pretty happy with the idea of removing policing in every black community across America, the abolition of the criminal justice system as well, and full pardons for every violent leftist and antifa rioter out there, the free redistribution of wealth from every downtown in every Democrat led city via rioting, and looting. It’s all ‘justice’ for sure, a down payment on reparations. They must especially like that the Justice Department, the FBI, NSA, CIA are all now owned and operated by the Democrat Party and that the full power of the state is being used to intimidate, cancel, and persecute their political opposition. What could go wrong there? It was Trump that was ‘fascist’ so the ends justify the means. Right?
Well, I don’t know because I’m hearing little to nothing out of my lefty friends and participants on various Facebook groups. Silence equals consent. Being a progressive, far-left person is special, as in mental illness. The kind of gaslit stonewalling disconnect necessary to truly believe in their agenda and be impervious to its logical trajectory as well as its departure from any original humanitarian objectives is actually pretty astounding for these people that consider themselves ‘smart’ when really, they’re incapable of thinking for themselves. Masses are easily led.
