About a month ago, I commented in a couple different articles that I see evidence that the radical wing of the Democrat backed ‘resistance’, along with an army of illegal immigrants, are about to take tactical violence to a new level within the US. Then along came the Los Angelos riots that as of this writing are still in progress. Derived from this, there are two streams of thought coming from conservative news commentary. One side seems to think this is ‘the big one’ in the process of flowering into full fledged insurrection. An alternate viewpoint is that it’s all pure optics and the paid [may as well be just] actors are doing what they’re paid to do and no one is committing to the shedding of their own blood. If one takes an honest look at the scene, you have to admit the latter here is certainly more true. In either and both cases, certainly the ante is upped, and this is nowhere near the end game. We should take a fresh look at it and get a clearer picture from where things stand now.
First the relevant stasis: an increasing and overwhelming majority of people approve of Trump’s handling of the lawbreakers. His favorability is through the roof. You’d hardly know that watching the news, even conservative news. On the other hand, the threat of violent demonstrations is spreading to a lot of other cities. The intended message is clear, ‘everybody’s doing it’ therefore their message must be real? But who’s watching? The big money still goes to the big cities where the cameras are rolling. Will the whole thing burn out in a week when the cash is all spent? Probably, but not definitely.
The deeper structural objective is to slow the juggernaut that is the Trump administration. Their only dim hope in doing so is to force an error, the appearance of an error, or to covertly perpetrate or appropriate an atrocity that their journalist can exploit on their behalf. Someone must get hurt. There are a lot of parallels to the antisemitic demonstrations on American campuses and to the ruinous tactics of Hamas in Gaza. It is not insignificant that some LA demonstrators wheeled their babies in on strollers in the middle of a riot. You know they’ve reach maximum desperate when they start using innocent bystanders and even their own families as human shields.
At some point, all of these causes are going to merge, especially if the Israeli campaign against Iran’s nuclear program gets appended to ‘the cause’. Here in America, demonstrators can clock out of their shift when its over, go home, take a nap, eat a slice of 3-day old pizza, watch reruns on TV and then clock back in to their assigned riot. In the Middle East, it’s all blood and martyrdom. Sooner or later, the globalist powers that be are going to figure out how to inspire their cozy westerner mob-persons to take up dying for the cause. So far, it hasn’t been politic to do so because of some hope of regaining the veneer of democratic power. Here’s is their inflection point: when that hope fades to nothing, all bets are off.
