I get it, the deep state had an absolute mandate to crush the anti-deep state Trump, and come hell or highwater – damn the people. Of course, this is not over, in fact, it’s just starting.
Trump knew what he was getting into, but then again, he didn’t because he was forced to keep hiring from a pool of people that were almost exclusively dedicated to his annihilation. This is a three-way war now. On the one hand is the Soros/Obama/Biden left. The next party is the deep state establishment that’s so desperate and hungry to maintain power that they can and will tolerate anything that the far left brings in order to stop Trumpism. Culture wars? They could care less, only ‘kooks’ are worried about it. Fiscal restraint? Who’s believed in that for the past 30 years? No one! How about foreign entanglements? Why, the left and establishment folks are perfectly in one accord about that, a marriage made in heaven! Conservatism? What is that even? We now have two entirely different definitions working. The ‘old outdated stupid definition’ meaning cultural tradition, fiscal restraint, limited foreign entanglement, and God forbid, personal responsibility. Then the country club version: big industry, ‘stable’ protected government class, wars, the military industrial complex (the original ‘deep state’ from back in the Eisenhower days), a complicit banking sector, and don’t forget golf.
I know it’s easy to think otherwise but the opposition to true conservatism isn’t a singular monolith; and yet, they are all jaded, they all crave power and wealth in a visceral way that the average man could never in a million years comprehend. There are no ‘true believers’. Watch them step through a maze of contradictory hoops, playing lip service to various constituencies, buying their allegiance, betraying their own supposed core causes. The deep-dyed socialists want wealth as much as any big business magnate. The one percent establishment will give billions to activists that turn around burn their stores to the ground. This is what makes it hard for true conservatives to fight back. Our instinct is to look at these parties without irony, at face value, but none of it adds up. But one thing is for sure, the left/deep state wants true conservatives, disinterested, disunified, distracted and deceived.
I’ve suggested before and will suggest again, that we are not at ‘the end’. We are not in a good place, but there are some hopeful signs. I believe that Biden/Harris has disappointed and underwhelmed their masters by sheer incompetence. I see at least a possibility that Schumer/Pelosi will not get their core agenda through by 2022 when their enemies at the gate overwhelm the ballot box. It’s truly unfortunate that they will have indebted future generations with $3-5 billion in cash transfers for woke garbage, but the Union may yet stand. The Biden administration is like a pack of leftist activist, rioting and looting, getting as much as they can until the police come. The sirens are even now in the distance. TVs and Nikes are in hand, but some booty is already falling out of their arms.
There is an audit of the Arizona 2020 election taking place now as we speak. I cannot predict that it will be successfully completed, and it almost doesn’t matter. If it takes another month or takes another year to beat every detail through the courts, the defiance of the Democrat/establishment deep state machine is every single day signaling what over half, or really closer to seventy or eighty percent of people already know, that the election was stolen. Of course, the left knows this as well as conservatives, because they participated in it and live in mortal terror of the day that at least one state’s results are invalidated – not that it will change the 2020 presidency. No, that will not matter but It will matter altogether in 2022 and 2024. Arizona is a bellwether event and there will be others that follow. I actually hope it takes until 2024 to audit some of the others.
Trumpism is alive and well. Trump himself teases he’ll run. I’d prefer to see him as king maker instead. Trumpism didn’t really exist in 2016; it was just him, crazy followers and a gargantuan state machine that made a miscalculation and didn’t expect him to win. He still has plenty of baggage in the form of style, personality, and miscalculations, especially in whom he trusts. He’s a terrible hiring manager but the pickings are still all too slim. A younger candidate will do much better.
The impossible is already happening in front of our eyes. False conservatives, establishment operatives like Liz Cheney are on their way out. Let them all get gigs at CNN and MSNBC. There are more of the electorate awake now than ever before. They’re mad as hell and they aren’t going to take it anymore.
