Kurt Schlichter (Twitter: @KurtSchlichter) is a columnist that I read and respect, mostly. Sometimes his prose gets a bit too snide even for me, but I understand totally where he’s coming from, and it’s not lost on me that venomous writing gets deeper and quicker to the heart of an issue than genteel manners. It’s an example I’ve been known to follow from time to time. He’s written lately of what it would look like if America had a literal down and dirty breakup between the left and right. To get a full and thoughtful rendering of that topic, read his columns or buy his book but since I was contemplating the subject when I observed his writings on it, I have thoughts as well, just a few anyway. It’s something that should be openly discussed.
The purpose of the January 6th 2021 false flag FBI led faux insurrection (and yes, I put it all out there exactly as I see it); the intent of this carefully crafted event was to neuter conservatism as a protest force, indefinitely. While they’ve mostly succeeded, short term, they bungled the coverup and the truth will come out a lot sooner than the left hopes. Conservatives were stupid for the entrapment in the moment, but progressives were and are infinitely both evil and stupid for what they engineered. The eventual payback will indeed be hell at the polls for a long time to come. One of the biggest dirty secrets obscured by the January 6 fiasco is this: if there is going to be any form of national divorce between left and right (read – college educated wealthy progressives vs. everyone else), it’ll be the left that ultimately instigates it.
Forget Donald Trump; I see four types of events that are grave enough to combust the nation as it stands now. All four circumstances are active now, all four have the left’s fingerprints planning, encouraging, or escalating each factor. Each of these have an absolute break point. Will the left cross it?
- Immigration: At some point, states and individuals will rise up and protect their borders if we’re invaded by a wave of humanity where the federal government refuses to get involved. If it gets to this point, there will be no federal force that has the wherewithal to stop border states and activated citizenry from protecting their homeland. Don’t expect even a woke military to effectively intervene.
- Firearms: If – and it’s a purely academic ‘if’ – if the federal government were to decree and enact significant or total citizen disarmament, the government would lose and the government would fall. The only reason we have a government that has not yet run roughshod over us is the presence of almost 400 million guns in the hands of US civilians (precisely as envisioned by the founding fathers). Every time the progressive Democrats open their mouths, Americans go out and literally buy a million more guns for this very reason. Every gun purchase is a vote. Currently notable is that women are now by far the largest buying group. The federal government fears guns and gun owners. If we ever give them cause to stop fearing, we’ll be no better than the Chinese Uyghurs. 400 million guns are the reason that we’ll never have to use them against our own government.
- Suspending the US Constitution: Socialist woke leaning Democrats and a frightening preponderance of young people are increasingly in favor of tossing the United States Constitution. It is the only legal constraint on the federal government as it was written explicitly for that purpose. Remove the Constitution, and they will have removed law, the only contract which governs America. The foolish young socialist entertains this notion of removal at their own peril.
- Hunger: When a people get to a certain point of hunger, they will riot and overthrow those that mismanaged their food supply, laws or no laws, left or right, rich or poor. Heavy handed despots can resist this by threat of death and enslavement but don’t expect that here, (guns). There are techno-elites like Bill Gates and the climate change radicals that are planning on systematically altering our food production, distribution, and economy away from real food toward their climate change diets conveniently engineered by their corporations. Like the Sri Lankans and Dutch peoples presently rioting and overthrowing their governments, we will not tolerate their brave new food world.
Given the January 6 premise, would we ever revolt over election fraud? Why is that not on this list? While the 2021 election witnessed significant corruption in key areas, even to the point of throwing the Presidential election, elections are still within the purview of the states; that is the strength and beauty of our constitutional federalist system. They are conducted by locals, our neighbors, it is constitutionally mandated, it is a decentralized self-repairing organism. If elections are ever federalized, all bets are off. If the constitution is ever invalidated, there will be no valid elections. 2021 was a wound that is now partially healed. It needs constant vigilance, but elections alone will not be a cause of a national divorce. The left would have everyone believe that January 6th was an uprising to overthrow the government based on an election. It was a protest of which a small segment was manipulated by the same government leftist that manipulated the election. Where were the guns in this supposed insurrection? Apparently only in the hands of rogue Capital police.
The Left have enthusiastically talked up the idea of a civil war. They would love nothing more to try and start one a-la January 6 but on a larger scale. I predict they won’t be so lucky. They’ll get their answer in November 2022 and 2024.
